Headshot Happy Hour

Enjoy mocktails and network with other graduate and professional students as you wait to have your headshot taken.
If you need some professional clothes, head to the Career Closet in the College of Business (HLH 102) or the Lavender Closet in the Nebraska Union, Room 346. The Career Closet provides clean, gently used professional dress items for ALL University of Nebraska–Lincoln students for FREE to allow them to put their best foot forward. The Lavender Closet provides UNL students with free and discreet access to identity affirming clothing and accessories.

Attend the annual Student Research Days Poster Sessions and Creative Exhibitions. This is a great opportunity to view the graduate and professional student research or creative work that’s happening at UNL. April 7 displays will feature engineering and physical science presentations.
Grad and Professional Student Day at Husker Baseball

Student Research Slam
Thursday, April 9th, 11:30-1:00 pm
Location: Wick Alumni Center
Tickets are free but registration is required.
The Student Research Days Slam is a campus-wide contest in which graduate, undergraduate students and post-docs from ALL DISCIPLINES are challenged to communicate their work in short, dynamic, engaging presentations, with a winner to be decided by the audience. Lunch will be served at 11:30 a.m., and the Slam competition will follow noon–1 p.m. in the Wick Alumni Center. Reserve a seat in the audience. Cheer on the Slammers, and then it’s up to you to decide who gave the most compelling presentation and deserves to be crowned Supreme Slammer. There is no registration fee, but space is limited!
