VEF and VIED

Application Administrators:

Application process:

  • Students are selected by VEF or VIED to receive scholarships, and UNL Graduate Studies is provided with a list of recipients. UNL is also included on a list of targeted US institutions provided to students.
  • All students apply for doctoral programs.
  • The application fee is waived and the student applies online in the normal procedure.

  • If the student is recommended for admission, Graduate Studies sends an admission offer letter that the student submits to VEF/VIED. Student then sends a copy of the scholarship award letter to Graduate Studies, after which the admission is completed.
  • UNL provides the immigration documents.
